DOUG FREEMAN STUDIO

​Minneapolis-based sculptor Doug Freeman creates sculptures and designs spaces that invite visitors to participate, play, and imagine. Established in 1978, Doug Freeman Studio specializes in commissioned public art – particularly places for people, such as fountains, memorials, plazas, and parks.

Doug Freeman is a trained figurative sculptor with additional expertise in landscape architecture. This unique combination allows him to collaborate effectively with landscape architects and other design professionals. He has worked with clients in both the United States and Japan to create public art that has become a lasting part of their communities.
